Nueva Andalucia beats many other residential developments on the western Costa del Sol hands down when it comes to location. This area lies just to the west of Marbella and has the following advantages:
- Highway access including the toll motorway is on the doorstep – this brings you within easy reach of Malaga and Gibraltar Airports as well as Malaga city and Sotogrande.
- Puerto Banús is literally down the road – and when we say, ‘literally’, we mean just that. You can easily walk to Puerto Banús from the south side of Nueva Andalucia and it’s a quick drive from the rest.
- Marbella itself is also down the road – the resort’s centre is another quick drive.
And if you want the beach, just head south for the cool sands at Puerto Banús or west for the quieter coastline at Guadalmina and San Pedro. Nature lovers can enjoy excellent hiking in the foothills of Sierra Blanca or around the Lago de las Tortugas reservoir.

As one of Marbella’s most established residential areas, Nueva Andalucia provides a long list of amenities on site. You’ll find supermarkets, cafés and restaurants, banks and other services at the different commercial areas such as Centro Plaza and La Campana. A regular market, renowned as one of the best on the Costa del Sol, selling arts and crafts and antiques takes place on Saturdays. And there’s even a casino.

Our list of reasons wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the real estate in this part of Marbella. Nueva Andalucia provides one of the best choices of property from traditional Andalusian to contemporary modern with almost anything in between.
Apartment complexes are dotted around Nueva Andalucia, particularly on the south side. Elsewhere, however, it’s villas that predominate and they range from small, detached homes to multi-bedroom mansions.
Price tags at the top end rival those in La Zagaleta and Sierra Blanca, but you’ll also find apartments from €400,000.
