The western end of the Costa del Sol is famed for its world-class sporting facilities. As a result, this part of Spain is renowned for its golf courses, tennis academies, and riding schools. Racquet sports clubs often include paddle tennis, known simply as pádel in Spanish, an activity that ranks as one of the most popular on the Costa del Sol. If you like to play or fancy learning, we’ve put together a list of the best paddle clubs in Marbella and Estepona (in alphabetical order). They include oldies and newbies, but all have one common denominator: excellent installations.

Our first listings include clubs within the central area of Marbella. 

Aloha Tennis and Paddle Club 

With 2 hard tennis courts and 3 paddle courts, this is a great venue to play either racquet sports or both. It’s located in Nueva Andalucia, so handy for central Marbella. Open matches are played regularly and there’s also an academy.

Club Internacional Tenis Marbella 

This club in Puerto Banús is more of a venue to play tennis – its courts have ATP standards – but there are also two paddle tennis courts. You can take lessons at the school in tennis and/or paddle. The club has a bar and social club plus a specialized shop.

Manolo Santana Racquets Club Marbella 

Originally founded by hallowed tennis champion, Manolo Santana, this club ranks as one of the best in Spain. It enjoys a privileged location on the road to Istán in Marbella and provides first-class sporting facilities including paddle courts.

Belonging to the iconic Puente Romano hotel on the Golden Mile in Marbella, this tennis club hosts regular world championships such as the Davis Cup and Fed Cup. As well as some of the best clay courts in the south of Spain, this club also has 4 paddle tennis courts.

There are fewer paddle clubs on this side of the resort, but the emphasis here lies on quality, not quantity. 

Los Monteros Racket Club 

This 5-star GL hotel has recently refurbished its racket sports installations and they include 7 tennis courts and 6 paddle tennis courts. You can also take classes at the Racket Academy, join in a tournament, or shop at the Adidas store on site.

Marbella Sports & Paddle Club 

This members’ only club is in Elviria and offers 10 paddle tennis courts. Members can also take classes and join in regular mix-ins. Additional facilities include a gym and restaurant.

Bel Air Tennis Club 

Located in the Paraiso area of Estepona, a short distance from Guadalmina in Marbella, this club offers 4 paddle courts. It also has an academy and holds regular mix-ins and tournaments. Indoor and outdoor fitness classes are available too.

If you’d like to combine excellent sporting facilities with stunning scenery, this paddle club in Marbella is for you. It sits in Sierra Bermeja and offers numerous activities including paddle tennis (there are 5 courts), pilates, boxing, and functional training.
