1. Marenostrum Fuengirola
From May until September, on the hillside of the spectacular Sohail Castle in Fuengirola, you can enjoy live music at one of the most spectacular outdoor music venues in Spain due to its proximity to the sea and the view of the monumental Sohail castle.
The Marenostrum Festival appeared on the festival scene for the first time in 2016, and since then, it has rapidly gained a reputation as one of the best music festivals on the Costa del Sol.
Its exceptional beachfront location made it the chosen venue for the only EU stop on Jennifer Lopez’s tour. Other iconic stars such as Ricky Martin, Bob Dylan, Sting, Alejandro Fernández, Santana, and Manuel Carrasco followed in her famous footsteps.
And for this year, musicians already confirmed include: Fulanita Fest, Pablo Alborán, Martita de Graná, Robbie Williams, Cosquín Rock, Ultra Beach Costa del Sol, Kany García, Tini, Hombres G, Morat, Locos por la Música, Luna Sur, Boombastic Day and Manuel Carrasco.

2. Starlite Marbella
Billed as the most important boutique festival in the world, Starlite explodes onto the music festival and cultural event scene of the Costa Del Sol every year in a two-month-long extravaganza held in July and August.
It is firmly established as one of the best music festivals on the Costa Del Sol and one of Spain’s most important annual social events.
What makes Starlite so special?
Apart from the stunning location, Cantera de Nagüeles, once upon a time, an abandoned quarry 5 km from Marbella, is reconstructed to become a glamorous open-air lounge and concert venue – it’s a spectacular line-up that includes the biggest names in music.
To add to the uniqueness and intimacy of the splendid location, the furthest point guests are from the artists is 39 metres, and the closest is only 2 metres.
Who is providing the music for more than 50 days of concerts this year?
Artists confirmed for 2023: India Martínez, Sebastián Yatra, Lionel Richie, Gipsy Kings, Anastasia, Sir Rod Stewart, Ludovico Einaudi, David Bisbal, Norah Jones, Andrés Calamaro, Carlos Rivera, Israel Fernández y Farruquito, Sara Baras, Taburete, Antonio José, Vicente Amigo, Lola Indigo.

3. Weekend Beach Torre del Mar – 5 – 8 July
Now in its eighth year, this is yet another musical event to head to as one of the best music festivals on the Cost Del Sol and one of Europe’s premier musical festivals, attracting over 135,000 visitors over four days.
This beachside haven of live music welcomes the superstar of Latin music, Maluma as the headline artist who has achieved worldwide fame with songs such as “Farandulera,” “La obsesión,” and “La temperatura.” Stand by to hear his new songs at the Festival, which, in his own words, “will take his musical career to another level.”
There is a spectacular line-up of DJ’s artists and international artists, including Fangoria, Sidecars, Delaossa, Mala Rodríguez, Kiko Veneno, and many more, bringing a mix of rock, hip-hop, pop, electronic, and reggae to Poniente Beach.

4. Cala Mijas – 31 August – 2 September 2023
As the superheat of summer starts to fade away in favour of the more gentle sun in September, The Cala Mijas international festival returns. It is spread over three days from 31 August to 2 September in the pretty Costa Del Sol town of Mijas, well-known for its fabulous beaches and a great selection of superb restaurants and eateries.
Which big names are performing in 2023?
Three big names head the bill; New York rock kings The Strokes, electrifying Florence + The Machine, and more contemporary Canadian indie band Arcade Fire.
They are joined by British band Foals, Metronomy, Amyl and The Sniffers, The Blaze, Delaport, Amaia, Cupido, Carino, Baiuca, and local talent Judeline and Ballena.
This is just the start, with more to come.
Camping, Glamping, and car parking are available to festival attendees.

5. Ultra Beach Fuengirola – 24 June 2023
For one day only, the Ultra Beach Festival in Fuengirola brings together a line-up of some of the best artists on the international electronic music scene.
Set over two stages, with the main stage on the hill of Sohail Castle and the second stage inside the Moorish fortress, the Festival has rapidly established itself as one of southern Spain’s leading electronic music and dance events.
The Festival also plays host to prestigious DJs and boasts incredible audio-visual productions.
